Raimondo D'Inzeo (Olimpionico)

Well before inaugurating their new facilities, the management of Grifone Equestrian Centre had shown their ideas and structure to one of the most charismatic personalities of the equestrian sport, Colonel Raimondo D'Inzeo, elected in the 1997 the best rider of all times by one of the world most credited newspapers.

The Colonel came expressly from Rome, where he lives, to Milan. The meeting was very helpful and the Rider very generous with advices. His expertise, together with the staff's innnovative ideas, has helped make the Grifone Equestrian centre a top facility and organization.

The Colonel also attended the first National Contest of indoor Horse-Show Jumping where he answered a reporter from famous magazine who was asking what the future of such a structure may be, as follows: "These facilities are certainly amoung the best in Italy. They probably have no real competitors. The indoor riding groung is huge and it also feature an unbeatable surface [...].

I'm certain that facilities like there can easily aspire to host international competitions and, to be more optimistic, even a World Cup. Don't tell anybody, but it's hight time the Cup where hosted again here in Milan, as it used to, years ago..."

His foresinght was right. From just one year after the Opening Cerimony of the big indoor, Grifone Equestrian Centre host International Horse-Shows, letting riders and spectators avail these unique facilities, together with the trademark courtesy and enthusiasm. Each time around offering new surprises to make everybody's stay even more pleasant.
